Each year, the participants of the Baltic Transport Forum visit the objects of the transport and logistics infrastructure of the Kaliningrad region, communicate directly with local professionals, get acquainted with new technologies used to work with different types of cargo, and not only.

In 2019, delegates will have a unique opportunity to visit the production and logistics complex of International agro-industrial group Sodrugestvo:
"The participants of the Baltic Transport Forum will get an extensive excursion program with the opportunity in real-time to observe the activities of the complexes," the company confirms. "The tour will be conducted by the complex manager, who will talk about all of its capabilities, as well as about technical solutions that implemented"
Today, this facility is the only marine food cargo terminal on the Baltic Sea in Russia. Its capacity is up to 10 million tons per year, which allows increasing Russian export of agricultural products, practically without using the infrastructure of other Baltic countries.

More about this in his report "The possibilities of the Kaliningrad region in the export of grain and mineral fertilisers" on the first day of the forum will tell the Head of the Marketing Department of the Management Company "SODRUGESTVO" Alexei Fedyanin.

The terminal itself, which delegates will visit on the second day of the event, is a kind of universal transhipment complex. It is possible to handle both food cargo (all types of crops, feed, vegetable and refractory oils) and general ones. The range of processed goods is continuously expanding. Today, on the territory of the production and logistics complex in Kaliningrad, a plant is under construction for the deep processing of soybeans into soy protein concentrate (which will also serve to increase the export potential of the region).

Within the discussion part and during the professional excursion, each participant of the Baltic Transport Forum will be able to adopt the experience of colleagues to develop their own business and clarify many other issues that are important for the region's economy and the Baltic transport and logistics industry.
Among are the participants of the Baltic Transport Forum: Government of the Kaliningrad Region, Eurasian Economic Commission, Rosmorport, Kaliningrad Sea Commercial port, Association Port Hamburg Marketing E.V.
